The American Gumball Rally is staging a comeback!
The Michigan Gumball Rally was the very first rally started in 2010 when entrepreneur (Randy Kohler) noticed an opportunity. Behind every fun event is a driven force of advertising that many people do not notice. The National Gumball Rally claims they can generate hundreds of millions of impressions per year for advertising sponsors through outdoor vehicle advertising, social media strategy and event planning. In 2009 Randy, 27, first came up with the idea during a road trip and decided to bring the idea to reality after Nelson House, the original founder of The Woodward Dream Cruise died of cancer in 2010. "Someone needed to step up to the plate and lead by example. I set out to organize fun, positive events that anyone can participate in. The Woodward Dream Cruise is the largest one day auto event in the whole world, with an annual attendance of over two million people, and it started as a small fundraiser to earn money for a children's charity."

Travis Pastrana is a hoonigan, and that is a fun thing to be, though he didn't win the race, he put on a great show afterward, spinning a terrific donut, and then? You know... took a bow
so the back bumper slammed into the railing, and...
though the photos didn't turn out, Travis was really great, got out of the car, and saw that the crowd was hoping for a souvenir, he picked up the huge piece of bumper, and tossed it over the fence to the lucky spectator
the Dakar Rally... both trucks and bikes high center, there's a lesson to learn here

Bethany Hamilton and teammate place 8th in Morocco's Gazelle Rally
found in Automobile Magazine, July issue... what an amazing news story to have in a car magazine! No one else has this story but Automobile Magazine is my guess!
Bethany will be on one of five US teams participating in the 2013 Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles. The well-known international competition, celebrating its 23rd year, will take place in France and Morocco from March 16th – March 31st. The off-road rally raid is unique in format – nine days of off-road driving competition using traditional dead reckoning navigation, outdated maps, no GPS or outside assistance while on course. It is considered one of the toughest all-female sporting events on the planet.
Bethany’s teammate, X-Games gold medalist navigator Chrissie Beavisis an architect by trade, but has top-notch skills in rally racing. She is also a driving instructor, rally racer and her capabilities as a mechanic and ace fabricator have led to appearances in popular TV shows such as “Monster Garage” as well as commentator roles for ESPN.
