James Garner... raced a Charger Daytona? Or is this Buddy Baker?

the car says Buddy baker, and maybe it's so obvious that the guy is also Buddy Baker, whom I've never seen a photo of... but he sure looks like James Garner

Such a cool guy, and great actor, but didn't get a single cool car to drive. 

James Garner, was on hand at War Bonnet raceway (near Tulsa Oklahoma) when Don Yenko won the race... Don got the parade lap, James Garner got the trophy queen on his lap.

found on Google Books, because I looked up James Garner at War Bonnet. He was walking around, not racing, and I suppose just generally interested in the SCCA racing.

but proving I've got the coolest readers... John sent me a photo he took as a kid in the pits, of James at this event

James Garner... once, one of the coolest tv and movie stars (Great Escape, Gran Prix, Maverick etc) but then he went to making chick flicks, and now? Yikes, he rode a Topper (Harley Davidson scooter)

Gran Prix by James Garner

the racing scenes are magnificent

one of the characters in the movie lives or stays at some place that has these representations of the race tracks in the Gran Prix circuit on the 2 storey wall in the staircase
